The Aabpara Police on Sunday found a dead body of an unknown young woman from the jungle area of Shakarparian. The police, quoting preliminary medico-legal report, said that the marks of torture were found on different parts of her body, particularly on her head. Investigation officer of the case, Sub Inspector (SI) Ishaq Ahmed told Pakistan Today it could be established after medical examination whether the victim was raped before being killed or she was killed for some other reasons.
He said that deceased woman seemed in her mid 30s. The Investigating officer said that the dead body had been placed at a mortuary of Federal Government General Hospital where her autopsy would be carried out. Aabpara Police has started tracing the relatives of victim.
