Foreign Office spokesman Abdul Basit has said that the resolution in US Congress may be a pressure for failure of trilateral meeting but these designs will be thwarted.
While talking to a TV channel here on Saturday, he said although law and order situation had worsened in Baluchistan but it did not mean that anybody by taking advantage of it would interfere in the internal affairs of Pakistan.
He condemned tabling the bill in US Congress by saying that it was the efforts of only two members and the house would not adopt it, however, this is the cause of astonishment for Pakistan.
He said the efforts were being made to improve US Pakistan ties and in these circumstances some elements were trying to deteriorate the relation by a conspiracy. “Some foreign forces are intervening in Baluchistan but we would have to take review of the situation internally”, he added.
He said the government had announced the Aghaz Haqooq-e-Baluchistan Package and it was also attempting to improve the law and order situation there.
