Sami’s hat-trick guides Rajshahi to win

Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Sami achieved a hat-trick in the final over to help Duronto Rajshahi record a 14-run victory over Dhaka Gladiators in the 14th Twenty20 match of the Bangladesh Premier League here at the Shere Bangla National Stadium on Thursday.
Chasing a rather easy target of 145 runs, Dhaka Gladiators could make only 130 for seven in the allotted 20 overs despite a fine unbeaten 54 by opener Imran Nazir.
No other batsman could make any significant score except Anamul Haque (20).
Sami became the first bowler to get a hat-trick in the Bangladesh Premier League. He finished at three for 23 and Monir Hossain got two for 22 for Rajshahi.
Earlier, Dhaka Gladiators restricted Duronto Rajshahi to 144 runs for nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Put into bat by Dhaka Gladiators, Duronto Rajshahi openers Shahzaib Hasan (23) and Junaid Siddique (25) made 45 runs but latter batsmen could not take any advantage of this good start.
However, Marlon Samuels played a responsible innings to top scored with 36.
For the Gladiators, Elias Sunny and Nazmul Hossain took two wickets each.
