Pakistan Meteorological Department (Pak-Met) has said that partial cloudy weather was expected during the next 24-hours but a new spell of rain and snowfall in different parts of the country will start from Sunday.
More rain with snowfall will lash the upper parts of the country from Sunday to Wednesday.
The Met office said that fresh westerly wave is likely to approach Pakistan on Sunday that will generate scattered rain in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwan, North Balochistan, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Under the influence of this westerly wave more snow is expected over the hills of Murree, Galliyat, Northern areas, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir from Monday to Wednesday.
It said that new spell of rain and snow fall will result in cold wave in up country besides lowering temperature in plain areas.
