Army contingent leaves for UN mission in Darfur

A Pakistan Army contingent left for United Nations Mission at Darfur, Sudan on Friday.
According to the ISPR statement, the contingent comprises 22 Officers, 9 Junior Commissioned Officers and 214 Soldiers. At present, a contingent comprising 500 troops of Pakistan Army including Engineers & Doctors are rendering valuable services in Darfur.
Pakistani troops are employed at United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Darfur since 2008.

    The usual standards of Pakistan Army, our army, are much higher than this.
