The police recovered huge cache of arms and arrested the culprit during snap checking here late Thursday night.
According to SHO Gawalmandi, Shukat Ali, on secret information the police started snap checking at Mechangi Road of Quetta.
During search of a suspected furniture laden pickup, arms including 10 rifles, five pistols and 3500 bullets of different bores hidden within the furniture were recovered.
The police arrested the accused Ali Ahmed and shifted him to undisclosed location for interrogation.
