The Peshawar High Court (PHC) Mingora Bench Bar (Darul Qaza) on Thursday rejected the government’s plea seeking a legal notice to detain outlawed Tehreek Nifaz-e-Shariat Mohamadi chief Sufi Muhammad’s three sons on basis of inadequate testimony against them. Last year, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) had acquitted Sufi’s sons Rizwanullah, Hayatullah and Ziaullah due to lack of evidence. The government filed a petition in which Sufi’s sons were indicted in various cases ranging from murder to attempted murder and terrorism.
