Rigging in elections to trigger anarchy: Imran

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday called for convening an all parties’ conference for formation of a caretaker government and warned that rigging in elections would lead to bloodshed and push the country towards anarchy, a private TV channel reported.
He said this while addressing a press conference on the occasion of former federal minister Chaudhry Nauraiz Shakoor and former MPA Maha Raja Tareen Advocate’s joining of PTI.
Criticising President Asif Ali Zardari’s way of doing politics, Imran Khan said Asif Zardari had put a price tag on every political party and politician.
Commenting on the passage of bill for the 20th amendment to the Constitution, he said it was not a Constitutional amendment but a deal for selfish gains.
He termed the next general elections as the most important elections in Pakistan’s history and doubted if the government would form an independent election commission.

  97. Imran bhai please change your attitude , you are always thinking negative. the country already has lot of issues. Why you think elections will be rigged. The only people or the department who wishes to rig the elections is ISI.
    I think this time around they will rig it in your favor. General (Retd) Hamid Gul admitted that he had and ISI have done selected rigging . Until the Politicians have unity the establishment will divide and rule.
    I can fore see Anarchy as you and Jamat Islami will play in hands of establishment to cry foul play. as you will not fair well in all the provinces. I hope common sense will prevail.
