City District Government Lahore (CDGL) on Tuesday asked the city’s educational institutions to initiate a special “zero period” at schools to create awareness among students about dengue fever. According to the notification, school authorities were advised to arrange for at least one lecture every day after the assembly to make the students realize the havoc dengue might cause and also inform them about their duties to prevent such a situation. On the other hand, an advertisement campaign in the city’s universities and colleges has already begun to create awareness among employees and students about this disease.
