Tahira Raza, Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP), Risk Management Group at National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has become the first woman in the history of the bank to reach SEVP position. A business graduate from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Tahira Raza joined NBP in 2003. Prior to joining NBP, she worked with First Women Bank and MCB. Qamar Hussain, President NBP congratulated Ms Tahira Raza and said there is a paradigm shift in the role being played by women in the society, in general and corporate world in particular. It is very heartening to see women being empowered in our society and NBP is not behind on this front as well.
