Islamic teachings can solve all problems: speakers

Ignoring Islamic teachings is the root cause of all problems being confronted by the Muslims around the world, said speakers and participants of a seminar held here on Tuesday. The seminar on Seeratun Nabi was organised by international Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). Justice Shahzado Sheikh, Judge Shariat Court, and Dr Tahir Mansoori presided over the wherein IIUI Vice President Prof Dr Sahibzada Sajid-ur-Rehman was the chief guest. Speaking on the occasion, Sahibzada Sajid said that success of this world and hereafter could not be achieved without practicing Seerat-e-Tayyaba. He said the main objective of establishing the IIUI was not only to teach the students ancient and modern sciences but also to promote teachings of Islam and Sunnah.
Sahibzada said students of Faculty of Shariah & Law, Dawah Academy and Faculty of Usuluddin proved mettle not only in Pakistan but also abroad. He said the main objective of subsidiaries of the IIUI such as Iqbal International Institute, International Institute for Islamic Research, Dawah Academy and Shariah Academy was to introduce common man to the teachings of Islam.
Justice Shahzado Sheikh said personality of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is the centre of religion. Religion moves around Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), he said. He said: “Until we adopt golden principles of Seerat-e-Tayyaba (PBUH) in our lives, we cannot get its advantages in our lives.” Quoting the Holy Quran, Dr Tahir Mansoori said Allah almighty has made the Holy Prophet (PBUH) a source of guidance for human beings in each and every matter of life. Before this Moulana Zahid-ur-Rashidi spoke on “Mohsin-e-Insaniat” and Dr Shabbir Ahmad Mansoori delivered a lecture on “Seerat-e-Nabvi Aur Hamari Zindagi”. The IIUI faculty members, administrative officers and a large number of students also attended the lectures.
