At least five people were killed when unknown armed assailants opened fire on a bus in Turbat area of Baluchistan, sources said Tuesday.
The sources said the attackers opened fire on a bus carrying workers of a construction company.
Heavy contingent of forces reached the spot and cordoned off the area while the dead and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Baluchistan has been witnessing a low level insurgency by nationalists, demanding more provincial autonomy.
