A fifteen year old school going girl was raped by a Sub Inspector (SI) of Islamabad police. Police sources said that on January 23, 2011 a girl with name initial (H) was sitting with three male friends at Fatima Jinnah Park, where Islamabad Police SI Narmeen Badshah appeared and started questioning the young boys and the girl.The boys were students of F/10 College while the girl was studying in a private school of the federal capital. The SI took the dating boys and girl in his custody and handed the boys to their college principle but did not release the girl.
After leaving the boys at their college, the SI blackmailed the girl and threatened her that he would inform her parents about her date. He took her at R White Hotel in F/10 Markaz where he raped her. After committing the crime the accused SI gave Rs100 to the girl to hire a taxi to reach home situated in Sector G/13. He also threatened her to keep silent over the entire episode. The area falls within the Jurisdiction of Shalimar Police Station. Later, the girl approached the Shalimar police Station and narrated the horrible story. On this, the police registered an FIR against the accused SI and arrested him. Police sources said that the SI has a daughter aged 15 year but despite this, he raped the 15 year old girl. He was deputed at Rescue 15. Talking to Pakistan Today Investigation Officer of the case on Sunday said that the SI on Saturday was sent behind bars.
This is very irresponsible, what do you mean the "dating boys" and girl. You are suggesting that their presence there was somehow wrong!
