The education team of Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) delivered road safety messages among the Chinese workers of a mobile network company during a special workshop, says a press release issued here on Sunday by the traffic police. The workshop especially held for the foreign workers was held at Zong Company. In-charge Education team Mehfooz Kinai and his team delivered the lecture and Muhammad Waqas from Zong Admin section was also present on the occasion. The head of education team said that aim of holding road safety education workshops was to acquaint the citizens as well as foreign guests with traffic laws and regulations by inculcating traffic sense among them.
The ITP was making special efforts to make Islamabad a model city and to minimise the traffic accident ratio, he added.
He urged the participants to respect others’ rights, especially the pedestrians during driving. He said a minor negligence of a driver could cause an accident.
