The Difa-e-Pakistan Council (DPC) is holding a large public meeting ‘Difa-e-Pakistan Conference’ in Karachi on Sunday (today). On Saturday, the DPC demanded a permanent ban on NATO supply and announced a sit-in outside the Parliament House on February 20 in protest. Maulana Samiul Haq, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Lieutenant-General (retd) Hamid Gul, Syed Munawar Hassan and Hafiz Muhammad Saeed jointly addressed a press conference arranged by the Awami Muslim League. Saeed said a permanent ban should be imposed on NATO supply. He said an all-parties conference would be convened on February 27 in Quetta to discuss the issues of Balochistan and against America’s interference in the country’s affairs.
