Two injured in land dispute clash

Two people were injured in exchange of heavy fire between two armed groups here at Adiala Road, police said. According to police, two armed groups, Raja Abid and Raja Sajid Group exchanged heavy firing against each other over a land dispute at Adiala Road. The area falls in the limits of Sadar Baroni Police Station.
Police said that there was a dispute between Raja Sajid and Raja Abid for the possession of a plot situated at Adiala road. On Saturday, Raja Sajid started building a wall that sparked firing between both groups. During the firing two people sustained injuries. After hearing gun shots heavy contingents of police reached the site, however, the accused managed to flee from the scene. Later police conducted search operation and arrested four accused involved in firing episode.
The accused arrested were identified as Shahid, Wajid, Saqib and Raheem. Police also recovered weapons from them. Three shot guns and one 7mm rifles were recovered.
