The International Islamic University, Islamabad, on Saturday confirmed a Pakistan Today report later aired by a private TV channel regarding immoral activities at the educational institution. The University administration however said the incident happened during the tenure of the previous administration.
“The present administration of the university has struck off two officers allegedly found involved in immoral activities instantly. Their cases have been referred to the disciplinary committee. As soon as the committee reach a conclusion, their recommendations will be acted upon,” a statement issued by the IIU said. It further said that the university has drawn a code of conduct for its employees to follow. “The previous administration used to hush up such issues but the present administration has adopted a zero tolerance policy in this regard. In the media reports, an attempt was made to create an impression that the university administration is lenient with regards to such immoral activities, which is actually against the policy of the university. Parents of university students should be satisfied that the administration is very vigilant for protection of dignity of its students.”
The University administration however said the incident happened during the tenure of the previous administration. who were in the previous administration? rector fateh malik was in previous administration, acting president sajid ur rehman was in previous administration as director. actually it was the same guys who covered up the sex scandal and only after students caught people red handed that the administration took preventive measures. the sex scandal is much much more serious than it is portrayed by the current administration who are themselves involved in this immoral business. It is an open secret in islamic university but no one dares to speak out because they fear they will be sacked in they open their mouth. if you want your daughters to be treated with dignity, international islamic university is not the place for you!
good yar.. a silent slap on the face of islamic university addministration that is abundend with the Jamat-e-Islami… these are the deeds of Jamat-e-Islami. that is how they are not protesting there.
