CDA holds family gala

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) officials on Saturday organised a beautiful family gala at the Fatima Jinnah Park to celebrate their efforts to plant colourful saplings and beautifully decorate the capital, which distinguishes it from other cities of the country.
Speaking on this occasion, CDA Chairman Engr Farkhand Iqbal said all the CDA officers were his team members and he would adopt a development approach for productive activities to come up to the expectations of the government in line with the future vision of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani.
The marathon one-day event was marked by colourful activities, including luddi, kite flying, folk dances and friendly matches. All the officers, including the CDA chairman, participated in these activities. The lucky draw was also held in which Deputy Director (Public Relations and Protocol Ramzan Sajid won an Umrah ticket. The event was the first ever of its kind in the history of the CDA, characterised by different stalls, shops, food court, game shows, and other festivities designed in a unique manner. The parents and their children enjoyed the event a lot.
