Aaqib resigns as bowling coach

Pakistan team’s bowling coach Aaqib Javed has stepped down from the coaching position to start his career as the coach of the UAE team He will continue working with the Pakistan cricket team till the end of the series against England. According to reports received here, Dilawar Mani, the chief executive of the Emirates Cricket Board made the offer to Aaqib who accepted to take the job of head coach of the United Arab Emirates team. He will be taking charge of his new job after the completion of the Pakistan-England series. The Pakistan Cricket Board is already in talks with Dave Whatmore and it is expected that the coaching staff of Pakistan would be changed once he takes over as the head coach. Mani said: “Following the resignation of Kabir Khan, we have shortlisted a few candidates. We would be more than happy to have Javed as our coach but we have to be sensitive to the fact that he is still holding a post with the Pakistan team.” An official confirmation of Aaqib’s resignation from PCB is awaited.
