Rally to show solidarity with terror victims held

Pakistan International Human Rights Organisation (PIHRO) Thursday organised a peaceful rally in front of the Parliament House and Supreme Court of Pakistan to show solidarity with the victims of terrorism and their families.
A large number of people including humanitarians, victims of terrorism, PIHRO team members and ordinary people gathered to show their solidarity. PIHRO Chairman Akram Zaki, PIHRO President Habib Malik Orakzai, SVP Atta-ur-Rehman Abbasi and others expressed their feelings on the occasion. PPP leader Dr Israr Shah, a victim of terrorist attack also shared his problems and views. More than 35,000 innocent people have been killed in different incidents of bomb blasts and suicide attacks but their families are still suffering. There was nobody to look after them and they were seeking for justice, the speakers said, adding no terrorist had been hanged or punished so far. The families of the victims seek justice from Allah but PIHRO stood with the victims and their families to seek justice, they added.
A delegation consisting of Chairman Akram Zaki and President Mr Habib Malik Orakzai, Senior Vice President Mr Atta-ur-Rehman Abbasi, Director Yasir Ali and other executive members of the PIHRO submitted appeal in the Supreme Court of Pakistan for the rehabilitation of victims of terrorism.

  1. It is unfortunate that at least 37,000 casualties have resulted in the last decade, due to terrorism and many have been through bomb blasts carried out through improvised explosives.

  2. Terrorists have turned Pakistan into a graveyard with the help of improvise explosive devices.

  3. What is our government and Parliamentarians doing to stop the terror attacks powered by the lethal improvised explosive devices?

  4. What is the solution to end this curse and the production of deadly improvised explosive devices? Only God can help us as our government has failed terribly.

  5. US should increase its funding to Pakistan. With limited resources, Pakistan cannot combat terrorism and the improvised explosive devices.

  6. we are in the situation where terrorists are using the improvised explosive devices and our common people are helpless.
