Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that Qatar demanded skilled workforce from Pakistan to build the infrastructure for Olympic Games scheduled to be held there in 2022.
He was talking to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti, who called on him at Prime Minister’s Secretariat on Thursday, before the 8th meeting of Council of Common Interests (CCI).
The prime minister said that during his visit to Qatar, he informed the Qatari leadership that poverty and illiteracy were the major root cause of extremism and terrorism and the absorption of unemployed Pakistani people in employment would greatly help in circumventing them from falling into the trap of terrorists.

  1. Selling South Asians for dirt cheap to the arabs instead of fixing our own selves. Arabs treat south asian workers worst than dogs and the Pakistani and Indian governments and PEOPLE are well aware of this. If you don’t respect yourself, nobody will respect you. South asians are the lowest in social status in the G.C.C countries and it’s soon going to be the world. What a horrible way to degrade your own race and people.
