Singing reality competition show, ‘The Voice’s mentors Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton kicked off the NBC hit series’ blind auditions with an awesome medley of some of Prince’s most popular songs, including ‘Party Like It’s 1999,’ ‘Little Red Corvette’ and ‘Kiss.’ After the show-stopping performance, well, the show had to go on, so the coaches took their seats to get down to business.Things were as heated as ever between Aguilera and her fellow mentors Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine, who duked it out for several of the contestants, including a single father, possibly the next Taylor Swift and a former Mouseketeer. ‘The Voice’ drew a household rating of 19.4 when it played after the Super Bowl on Sunday – a 27 percent gain from when Fox aired ‘Glee’ after the 2011 Super Bowl, reports the Hollywood Reporter. ‘The Voice’s’ ratings were boosted thanks to NBC’s telecast of Super Bowl XLVI, which set a record as the third most-watched NFL broadcast of all time.
