A blast on the Prince Road has damaged many buildings and vehicles, a private TV channel reported.
According to initial reports, the explosion outside a satellite phone shop in Liaquat Bazar ripped through the market place about an hour before the midnight.
The blast, which broke the windowpanes of several buildings/shops, was loud enough to be heard from miles. No human casualties have been reported so far.
