Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said the government was pushing the country towards destruction.
“Every institution has been badly hit by corruption. Had our policies been pursued, the country would not have gone through the present situation,” he said while addressing the laptop computer distribution ceremony at Bahauddin Zakria University.
“Those who are chanting slogans for change in the name of youth are enacting only a drama,” he said. “I want to make it clear on them that we had brought change in 1990 and are bringing about change at present as well.”
He said the PML-N was criticised in every matter, but time had proved that the party was on the rightful path.
Nawaz alleged that hindrances were created in the way of Shahbaz Sharif in the matter of distribution of laptops. “People know well how many conspiracies were hatched against Shahbaz. But he is working for the development and prosperity of the nation,” he underlined.
About the world’s youngest IT expert Arfa Karim, Nawaz said IT Tower would be named after her. He said the critics could raise only objections and they did not think about the development of the country.
