In a cruel and inhuman incident, three children of a family were gunned down by rivals in Pano Aqil town near Sukkur on Tuesday.
Police said the incident took place in Pano Aqil’s Chachar Muhalla, 40 kilometers from Sukkur city, where unknown armed men barged into house of a rival clan and opened fire on the family.
“Two people were injured while three children, who received gun shots, died on the spot,” an official said, citing old enmity as reason behind the gory incident.
He said the attackers managed to flee from the scene as no one was arrested, adding that an operation had been kicked off in Pano Aqil’s locality to track down the offenders.
