Seeking a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute, President Asif Ali Zardari on Saturday said Pakistan would continue to extend complete political, moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris.
“The government and the people of Pakistan observe the Kashmir Solidarity Day by renewing their unswerving support for the just struggle of the Kashmiri people for the realisation of their fundamental and inalienable rights,” the president said in his message on Kashmir Solidarity Day.
He said for over six decades the Kashmiri people had rendered countless sacrifices for upholding their dignity and freedom, pleading for equity and justice and the fulfillment of the promise for the effective exercise of their right to self-determination, as envisaged in the relevant UN resolutions. “It is indeed imperative that the noble principles and values, that underpin the just Kashmiri cause, are upheld and supported by all justice and freedom-loving peoples
across the world. It is also important that the fundamental human rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir are respected and promoted,” he said.
The president said in recent years the peaceful struggle of the people of Jammu and Kashmir had gained in strength
and intensity. “A new generation of the Kashmiris, including men, women and children, continue to wage a heroic struggle for the realization of their fundamental rights,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said a peaceful settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people was a must to ensure peace and prosperity in the region.
He said Pakistan believed that the United Nations promise to the Kashmiris as contained in the relevant resolutions
must be fulfilled.
Gilani said the government and the people of Pakistan would continue to extend their full moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris for the realisation of their fundamental rights and legitimate aspirations.
The prime minister said the government and the people of Pakistan joined their Kashmiri brothers and sisters in solemnly observing the Kashmir Solidarity Day.
“On this occasion, we reaffirm our complete support to the just Kashmir cause and renew our pledge of steadfast support for the heroic struggle of the Kashmiri people for the effective realization of their fundamental and inalienable rights,” he said.
It sounds funny to hear the words like "values, noble, principles and promise" coming out of the mouth of this president and pm. I wonder if they know the meaning or did someone just hand them a statement to red. On second thought, they can't read 🙁
Balooch?
If pakistan keep on crying and begging for kashmir, soon the will be ALL-OUTTTTTTTTTT.
Kashmir will always be and remain a part of india , no matter what action pakistan takes .first look at your own problems
1:- sinking economy of pakistab
2:- pakistan is become a hub for terrorism
3:- illeteracy and poverty wide spread
4:- un employement rate goes on increasing
5:- The Military dictatorship,
6"- balochistan issues (Azad Baluchistan) have mercy on baluch's
7:- MULLA ORIENTED Ways of living your life which is pathetic
8:- haterred towards india and israel which leads you no where in the world
9:- Muslim killing muslims ( Shia-sunni) based on sects.
and an endless list to go .
based on my above points do you all think the people of kashmir will live happily in pakistan ? no wayz—– even the earlier migrats to pakistan in 1947 are still labelled as Muhajirs . first solve your own problems and then cry for kashmir
Modern youths have explored many places in india , i am from mumbai and my buisness partner is a kashmiri ,and when asked about pakistan then he says its better to die rather than mirgating to pakistan and he equally an indian as we are
So stop dreaming about kashmir in ur existance
