The Capital Development Authority (CDA), in collaboration with the business community, is taking every measure to make Islamabad a major trade and business hub of the country. This was stated by CDA Chairman Engr Farkhand Iqbal during his visit to Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) on Monday. The CDA chief said the civic body recognised the efforts of the business community in the development of Islamabad and would keep seeking its cooperation for further development of the capital. He added the CDA was taking measures for better working relationship with the business community to help boost economic activities in the city.
Farkhand said that besides the development work, the CDA was also paying heed to renovation, maintenance, beautification and other facilities of existing markets and shopping centres, adding that most of the markets had been upgraded in this regard.
