The 10th National Netball Women Championship will roll into action from tomorrow (Monday) here at the Lahore University of Management and Sconces (LUMS).
Syed Babar Ali will be chief guest at the inauguration ceremony. As many as 11 teams are participating in the national event including Army, WAPDA, HEC, Sindh, Punjab, Khyber PK, Balochistan, Islamabad, FATA, LUMS and LGS. Sindh team will be defending champion.
Pakistan Netball Federation (PNA) secretary Gen Muddassar Arain on Saturday reached the city and met with Punjab Netball Association (PNA) secretary Chaudhry Rizwan. He also examined the arrangements of the championship and appreciated the efforts of PNA president Syed Shaharyar Ali who is boosting netball across the Punjab.
IOC Olympic Committee member in Pakistan Syed Shahid Ali will be chief guest at the concluding ceremony.
