India claims killing 2 LeT members in IhK

Two Lashkar-e-Tayyaba (LeT) militants were on Saturday killed in an encounter with security forces in Pulwama district of Indian-held Kashmir (IHK), PTI reported. An encounter broke out between a police team assisted by Indian army personnel and militants at Adoora village in Pulwama late last night, officials said. The night-long gunfight ended with the killing of two militants, who have been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Shiekh, alias Chotu, and Aashiq Hussain Shah, they said.
Both the militants were affiliated with LeT. Two AK 47 rifles, two grenades, two mobile phones and 120 AK rounds have been recovered from their possession, the officials said.
