PML-N leader escapes firing

Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Nicholson Carpet Market President Iqbal Ahmed Dogar escaped two bullets from dacoits after he resisted a dacoity bid at his shop in Naulakha Police Station precincts on Friday.
According to details, Iqbal was sitting in his shop, when two dacoits armed with pistols entered his shop and held him at gun point. Iqbal Dogar tried to resist, following which the dacoits shot two fires at him, which he escaped. The dacoits took Rs 100,000 and his pistols from the shop and fled.
Immediately after the incident, the shopkeepers held shutter-down protest and chanted slogans against the police. They alleged that it was the eighth incident of dacoity within a month but the police had failed to nab the dacoits.
Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
