Pakistan and Qatar will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on enhancement of hydro power production, restoration of hydro power plants, exploration of new avenues for investment and high ways infrastructure building.
As per official sources, the MOU would be signed during Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani’s visit to Qatar from February, 6 to 8. The draft of the MOU has been evolved which will be signed by the ministry of water and power from Pakistan side and Ministry of energy from Qatar.
MOU is aimed at bolstering bilateral cooperation between the two countries and it will stand implemented for 3 years. Both the countries will be able to renew or extend MOU during its last dates.
