Muhammedan Anglo-Oriental College (MAO) arranged a seminar to commemorate Kashmir Day on February 3. Government Degree College Principal Prof Dr Ijaz Butt was chief guest and MAO College Principal Prof Dr Farhan Ebadat Yar Khan directed the seminar.
Dr Butt focused on the Kashmir issue in his address by stating that a composite dialogue between Pakistan and India on Kashmir was the solution to the issue. He dispelled the notion of Pakistan wanting war with India over Kashmir, but stressed that Kashmir was an integral part of Pakistan. After the address, a question and answer session was held for the students and faculty to take part in.
Dr Farhan concluded the seminar by reminding the assembly of Pakistan’s stance on Kashmir and thanked the chief guest for attending.
