The PPP believes in supremacy of rule of law and will continue to respect superior courts’ orders, Information Minister Firdaos Ashiq Awan said on Thursday.
Addressing a gathering at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) on the occasion of Iranian Cultural exhibition, the information minister said Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani had appeared in the court earlier and would comply with the orders of SC whenever it called him.
“The prime minister came out triumphant from the Supreme Court earlier, and if the court summons him again, the result will be the same,” Firdous said.
“We will be successful not in the court of Supreme Court but also in the courts of Allah and the public,” she said.
