The Pakistan Cricket Board has not happy with regular statements from coach Mohsin Khan, it was learnt Thursday.
It has been learnt that the PCB has asked Mohsin a number of times to refrain from talking to media but he was not listening and has been giving statements. Another source stated that there are highly unlikely chances of Mohsin becoming the Pakistan’s regular chief coach.
“Moshin was made interim coach after Waqar resigned but the win of the team is not the only certificate to get him the chief coach,” the source maintained.
Last month Zara Ashraf in a statement in Karachi made it clear that Mohsin is a talented person but was not a suitable choice for the chief coach’s job. It has also been learnt that Dave Whatmore came to Pakistan just not for interview but also to sign the contract and he would be joining the team after the Pakistan and England series and interim coach is likely to be made incharge of the Karachi Cricket Academy. staff report
