The Bharaku police arrested Atif Pervaz on Thrusday for his alleged involvement in a firing case. He is the son of former MNA from Islamabad, Raja Pervaz.
Atif was wanted for firing at a man and injuring him. The case was registered a couple of months ago.
Robbery attempt foiled: The people present in a wholesale shop in Sabzimandi foiled a robbery attempt made by four armed robbers aiming to loot the shop. The people present in the shop shouted for help when the robbers entered the shop, following which the robbers resorted to aerial shooting before they fled from the scene. A shopkeeper, Masood Satti, got injured and was shifted to PIMS. The police started an investigation into the incident.
