Five militants were killed in military operation in Darra Adam Khel and Akkai areas and took control of key locations on Thursday, security officials said. Security forces also recovered huge cache of weapons in a search operation and arrested 8 suspected militants. Recovered weapons included suicide jackets and landmines. Security forces took full control of key militant bases at Toor Chapar, Marchakai Sar, Zaitoon Morcha and Speen Qabar in Darra Adam Khel. Militant commanders Kasha, Kaka, Babu, Fazal Wahab and Haider Mulla were reported to have been killed in the clashes.
