Seven PIA airhostesses were arrested on Wednesday at New York Airport for allegedly smuggling cigarettes and mobile phones. A PIA spokesman confirmed the incident, adding that the airhostesses had been released shortly after their detention. The spokesman also said that an enquiry has been ordered into the matter.

y shame on pia air hostesses? in a country where petrol is of 96rs per litter, cng is as expensive as petrol, diesel is of 101rs per littre, eating goods are expensive then in this situation people will find ways to over burden their expenses. secondly, they were not in to prostitution, they were not smugling heroen so chill peoplr from other countries do the same even these rath NY ppl do the same wen they go to other countries but the diffrence is that they are abducted

I live in NY, and as much as I know abt this incident, it was ONE air hostess who was questioned and she was the reason to get all other in trouble by saying that everyone does it, its not only me. What a stupid idiotic cow!!!!

First they were stopped only at home airports and "muk maka" worked, but now the source countries started stopping them. almost every member of the crew from steward to captain does this smuggling as without this they assume its not worth working for PIA. Well i would say, if you dont like the job or pay, find something else, but dont get caught on such silly things which attracts more media attention rather than any real benefit to yourselves.
