One person was injured after a US consulate land cruiser hit a car on Tuesday in the university town area of Peshawar. US consulate land cruiser (PU-297) hit a car in which a family was travelling. One of the family members on board the car sustained injuries while the car was slightly damaged. Traffic police intercepted the land cruiser on the complaint of the aggrieved party but the occupants of the land cruiser refused to get off, leading to a traffic jam. On the intervention of police, the US consulate vehicle was allowed to move to the American Club.
