US Ambassador to Pakistan Cameron Munter on Tuesday said the Salala checkpost attack was a terrible tragedy and the United States (US) will ensure that such incidents do not take place again. Speaking to media at Moenjodaro near Larkana ‚ Munter said the attack was not pre-planned. He hoped that a debate in the parliament talks between Pakistan and the US will resume to normalise relations. He said Washington will continue to offer all possible assistance to flood victims in Pakistan. Munter said Moenjodaro was a rich archeological site and the US government will extend technical assistance to preserve it. He was briefed about the history of the historic archeological site.
