At least 10 people were injured in rampage and violent protests after the death of a patient in Jinnah Hospital on Tuesday night.
According to details, Madiha 25, hailing from Sheikhupura suffered labour pain and was shifted to Jinnah Hospital three days earlier. The woman died during delivery on Tuesday night.
The heirs of deceased ,holding medical staff responsible for her death, started protest.
During rampage and exchange of blows, 10 people, including five security guards of the hospital, two members of the paramedical staff and three relatives of the deceased, were injured.
The heirs of the deceased have said that the death was caused due to fake injections and demanded the provincial authorities for taking action against the responsible hospital staff.
