Pakistan Peoples’ Party has requested Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl to support 20th Constitutional Amendment Bill in the National Assembly.
The PPP leaders Mian Manzoor Wattoo and Raja Pervez Ashraf called on JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad and conveyed the message of his party.
Sources said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman made it clear to them that JUI-F’s stance over national issues had always remained principle. The JUI-F would take any decision after taking up the matter in party’s Majlis-e-Shura, sourced cited Maulana Fazlur Rehman as saying.
