Aitchison College and Telenor won their matches of the Shapes Cricket League here on Sunday here at Aitcheson Ground. Aitcheson College beat Clear Correct by 10 wickets.
Scores: Clear Correct 120 runs for all out in 20.1 overs. Imtiaz Anwar 56, Salman Khan 17 and Basharat Hameed 17 runs. Muhammad Aneeb 5/23, Zulqarnain 2/39. Aitcheson achieved the target of 121 without any loss in 13 overs. Irfan Zafar 48*, Asim Nawaz 23*. The match was supervised by Jamil Shah & Muhammad Waqas umpires, Zahoor Alam was the scorer. Later chief guest Mudasar Ahmed Rathor gave the Man of the Match to Irfan Zafar. In the second match here at Bagh-e-Jinnah, Telenor beat Gymkhana Colts by one wicket. Scores: Gymkhana Colts scored 144 runs in 27.4 overs. Hashim Islam 40, Raeed Khan 21 and Usman Bashir scored 16 runs each. Shahid Afzal took 3/21, Khurram Shafiq 2/21 and Atif Jabbar 2/24. Telenor achieved the target in 23.5 overs on loss of nine wickets. Asfan yar Wali 48*, Nauman Jahangir 17* and Shahid Afzal scored 17 runs each. Gymkhana Colts bowling Zain-ul-Abadeen took 4/32, Mahad Mirza 4/53 wickets. The match was supervised by Muhammad Kaleem, Nisar Ahmed (Umpires) and Muhammad Rafiq scorer. Waqas Amanullah give away the man of the match award to Asfand Yar Wali.
