Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that Maulvi Fazalullah, the Swat Taliban chief, is responsible for all the ongoing sectarian attacks.
Talking to media on Saturday, the minister said the militants had changed their policy as earlier they were targeting a common man but now they are killing officials from police, FC, and law enforcement agencies.
He claimed that Maulvi Fazalullah while sitting in Afghanistan was operating all kind of terrorist activities in Pakistan. He said the terrorists were not doing anything for the cause of Islam despite; they are killing the innocents for money.
The government had taken stern action against the militant groups in Pakistan who were creating mess and destabilizing the entire system, he said.
Malik also proposed that there should be ban on pillion riding in Karachi for at least one month in order to bring complete peace in the city.
The minister appraised the efforts of Manzoor Wasaan for organising successful gatherings in Sukkur and Sindh respectively.
