Supreme Court on Friday putt off the hearing of Balochistan’s target killing case till February 6.
The court had to adjourn the hearing due to the absence of Balochistan’s Advocate General over medical reasons.
Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry said the court wants to hear this case in Quetta and that there should be no delay in this regard.
The chief justice directed the Balochistan government to receive daily reports from ISI and Military Intelligence.
Meanwhile, Balochistan government, IB, Special Branch and CID department submitted their reports about the recent wave of target killing in Quetta.
IB’s counsel requested the court to keep the report confidential, saying it contains sensitive information.
On this, Chief Justice Chaudhry said everybody knows what is happening in Balochistan and there is nothing secret in this report.
