Dr Khalid Masood has been appointed as new director general of Islamic Research Institute (IRI), International Islamic University Islamabad.
Dr Khalid Masood has served various national and international educational institutions as well as research organisations.
He has served as chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology, academic director, International Institute for the Study of Islam in the Modern World, the Netherlands, postdoctoral fellow (1977-8), University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, USA and Phd supervisor, Qauid-e-Azam University, Islamabad.
He is a Fulbright scholar, nominated for presidential award, best researcher award and presidential Iqbal award.
