Important revelations and announcements in the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s public meeting in Sukkur today would prove to be the last nail in the coffins of enemies of Sindh, Pakistan and the so-called nationalist elements, said MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
He said this while talking to office bearers of various wings of the MQM Sukkur zone on Thursday. Hussain said that the “Strong Sindh, Prosperous Pakistan” public meeting would create history. “The message of MQM is spreading across the length and breadth of Sindh and an environment of brotherhood is developing among the nationalities living in Sindh,” he said. “The so-called nationalist elements are troubled sorely because of the growing public awareness in Sindh.”
The MQM chief was of the view that nationalist elements are carrying out negative propaganda against the party that it is planning to divide Sindh through the 20th constitutional amendment in order to mislead the Sindhis because of this growing public awareness. Assuring the permanent residents of Sindh that the MQM does not want to divide Sindh, Hussain said that he is a loyal son of Sindh, and will not disappoint the people of Sindh. “The so-called nationalist elements want to create a feud between the permanent residents of Sindh at the behest of its enemies,” he added. Appealing to the people living in Sukkur and adjoining areas to participate in the MQM’s rally, he commended the MQM office bearers, workers and elected public representatives busy in making preparations for the public meeting The MQM will stage a public meeting at the Railway Station Ground in Sukkur today (Friday).

  1. Not again. Pakistan Today prints the picture of 'the most popular' leader of the country (not the UK) who is loved by hundreds of millions of people from Karachi to Gilgit but has 30 seats in the parliament (10 out of these courtesy of 'Thappa mafia'). Give us a break Pakistan Today please.

What is he going to say? He will claim that he is 'son of Sindh' but his actions speak louder than words. Look in Karachi University Sindhi students are discriminated. This is not only in Karachi Univesity but all other institutions. No jobs for sindhis and now he suddenly remembers rights of sindh and sindhis.

No one is going to believe in this man.
