Newly-appointed Ambassador of France to Pakistan Philippe Thiebaud and French Consul General Christian Ramage called on Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Khuhro on Thursday to exchange views on issues of mutual interest. Speaking on the occasion, Khuhro said that Pakistan attaches much significance to its relations with France and called for further boosting the existing bilateral relations on strong footings.
Welcoming the newly-appointed French ambassador to Pakistan, the Sindh Assembly speaker expressed the hope that during his tenure the relations between Pakistan and France would further strengthen. Thiebaud said that his country gives prime importance and high value to its relations with Pakistan. Discussing the political scenario of Pakistan and Sindh, Khuhro said the government is doing its best for the welfare of people and strengthening democracy in the country. Khuhro also gifted Sindhi ajrak, cap and an assembly shield to the ambassador.
