The Rawalpindi Arts Council on Wednesday arranged two separate block printing workshops on its premises in which a large number of students, including that of textile and fashion designing, participated enthusiastically. Renowned artist Hamid Hussain delivered a lecture on block and screen printing and conducted practical for the students.
Senator Najma Hameed was the chief guest at concluding ceremony of the workshop, who distributed certificates among the students who participated in the event. Addressing to the participants, Najma said it was a good trend to provide the education with practical approach, adding that these workshops helped students in practical life. She said the Punjab government was taking bold steps for improvement in the education sector.
