IESCO announces shutdown for 26th

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday announced power outages schedule for January 26 in different areas of the city due to electricity maintenance and development work.
According to an IESCO Spokesman, the power supply would remain suspended on Thursday January 26, from 9 am to 1 pm at the I-10/4, M. Hussain Steel Mill, Old United Mill, Mumtaz Steel Mill and I-10/4 feeders. From 9 am to 2 pm the Holy family and Banni feeders will experience a power outage. The FECHS, NPF-I-II, Koral, Pakistan Town, Krong Town, Doctor Town, Wild Life, PWD Block-A,B,C,D, NPF, Colony Blocks-A,B,C,D, will not have electricity from 10 am to 2 pm. Similarly, from 10 am to 3 pm the Industrial-I – II – III, Fazal Paper, Shaheen Pipe, Rehmania Flour Mill, Modern Steel Mill, Potahar Steel Mill, Itehad Steel Mill, Fazal Steel Mill, Nafees Flour Mill, Sihala Flour Mill, Zakria Pipe United Flour Mill feeders will not have electricity.
The Islamabad Flour Mill, Daultala and C.B. Khan feeders will be out of power from 10 am to 3 pm.
Nisar Qadri showcases skills at One Man Show: Living legend of TV drama Nisar Qadri Tuesday evening mesmerized the audience and drama lovers with his masterly skills of acting at Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA).
He performed on the show entitled “Machis Ho Gee Aap ke Pass” as part of PNCA’s programme One Man Show that recognizes the life time achievements of the artistes in the field of drama acting.
Nisar Qadri demonstrated the solo performance on the script written by Arshad Chahal that was a tribute to his acting career with the popular roles he dramatized throughout his life.
The one man shows by various artistes are a regular feature of PNCA’s activities to highlight and acknowledge the life time services of artistes in their acting career, said Tauqeer Nasir, Director General PNCA, while talking to APP. He said the art and cultural institutions of state should own the artistes in a way that could give due recognition to the services of artists and make them ambassadors of their nation.
This approach will give a boost to their energies and they can work in a better way for promoting soft image of the country, he added. “Machis Ho Gee Apke Pas” dramatizes the search of a person for some company at various stages of life and reminds him of different characters that he met in past life.
It also shows the love of audience for popular characters in the field of performing art and how people consider these characters as part of their life.
Nisar Qadri in his performance also portrayed the importance of actors in a society who provide a new approach to audience by moulding their own personality into a particular character.
