Only 29 percent of Pakistanis are in favour of the creation of new provinces, says a Gilani Research Foundation survey carried out by Gallup. According to the survey, a whooping 59 percent opposed the creation of new provinces in the country. However 12 percent did not give a view. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the all provinces was asked whether there should be new provinces in Pakistan.
